I wanted to stay close by my event at the javits center. I found this spot online and was pleased by the great staff and simple setup, bathrooms are like rest rooms CLEAN and full of amenities, the room is tiny but in NYC that's how it is. Comfortable and perfect for a place to sleep and decompress. There is a common kitchen' ish area and lots of snacks, fruits ,etc.

The chamber was very small, but clean and had everything I needed for this short stay. Unfortunately, the chambers have no ceiling and they are no rooms. You rather sleep in a huge dormitory with your own, private section. Something like a mix between a hostel and a hotel.

Great place to stay a few days and relax after a day of walking and sightseeing. The rooms are small but enough for one and a suitcase. Bathroom and showers always clean and with plenty of supplies if needed. The 24/7 breakfast is wonderful too. Everyone is really nice and the area is super walkable and close to a lot of places and the subway. I recommend it if you want something simple, clean and quiet.

Had a great stay! The place fully met my expectations. clean, comfortable, and exactly what I needed. The staff were absolutely amazing, super friendly, and always available 24/7 for anything I needed. Solid breakfast. Really appreciated the service and overall experience. Definitely a solid 5 star stay and would happily come back!

Really welcoming environment - it felt very calm and peaceful hostel run by a community of hare krishna followers. Staff are very friendly and helpful, and there's zero pressure or expectation to engage with the spiritual side of things.

I recently attended a three-day interfaith retreat, and I was thoroughly impressed by the level of service. The staff were incredibly friendly, with Alex standing out for his genuine kindness, helpfulness, and warm hospitality.

I called to verify a last minute reservation I had made, the person I spoke with confirmed and verified check in for me. I arrived at 3PM to check it. The gentleman checked me in and went over "house rules". Everybody was very friendl, social and respectful. The place was extremely clean and very welcoming. I was on the 3rd floor (its an older walk up tenement building...no elevator). I got into my room and was pleasantly surprised it was very comfortable, The matress y pillow were very soft y easy to sleep on (I'm fussy when it comes to pillows y beds being to soft or not soft enough), the minute I layed down I slept so soundly. This place is so Uber quiet and I was right next to the bathrooms y showers. The bathrooms y showers are fully stocked y exceptionally clean as well. Its centrally located in midtown so theres lots of shopping, resteraunts, grocery stores, etc. Very tourist friendly y lots to see and do. I have to say, I frequently travel and in NY, by far this is my new favorite place to stay and its very affordable. I definately recommend Interfaith Retreats, you cant go wrong!

Great place to stay if you’re looking for a worth-recommending hostel in the center of Manhattan. The rooms are very small, but overall satisfactory — especially if you’re not planning to spend much time inside 🙂
